One sure fire way to make it rain here in central Virginia is for me to visit the local car wash. I went to the car wash on Saturday morning to get my dirt encrusted car looking somewhat new and shiny...Well, looking as new and shiny as a 12 year old, two-toned, scratched and dented car can look. Like a magnet, the rain clouds are drawn to my newly washed car.
Low pressure is creeping across the country and this will bring more clouds into the picture, especially by Sunday afternoon. Just like previous weeks, this looks to be a really slow mover. This will provide us for several chances for rain showers, starting late Sunday and possibly lasting through the middle of next week. It'll also bring cooler weather back to the area, just when you thought it was safe to put those jackets away. We could even be talking about some patchy frost by early Thursday morning!
Until next time,
Brantley
