In just a few short days the Ntelos Wireless Pavilion will be buzzing with music lovers. It is time for another season of Friday's After Five! I moved to town just as last season was wrapping up, so I can't wait for Friday! I got the chance to meet the headlining band 'The Rock River Gypsies' and they are very excited for thier upcoming show. They have a basement rehearsal space right here in Charlottesville and have been playing together for the past 6 years. The band will have a little mixture of everything this Friday; from rock and roll to jazz and blue grass...Something for everyone!
They are set to take the stage at 6:30 pm, but unfortunately we do have rain back in the forecast for Friday night. Ahead of our next system we will see clouds on the increase during the day on Friday and the showers will start late in the evening. I'm crossing my fingers that the rain will hold off until the show is over, but bring an umbrella just in case!
