Weather Words: February 21

From snow to temps in the 70s... in less than a week.

Sure was a beautiful snow, was it not?

As quickly as it came, it's melting quickly, and by the end of this week not much will remain as we swing back to the side of mild temperatures. Highs this afternoon will reach the lower 50s, tomorrow they'll reach the lower 60s, and then Thursday we find ourselves in the 70s across the area. Seriously. Talk about accelerating from winter to spring!

I wanted to take a little space and sincerely thank everyone who submitted photos and snowfall totals since Sunday afternoon. It is your eyes and ears than help us know what's happening in all corners in the region, and the pictures sent were fantastic. If you've yet to check out the pictures, you can see them by clicking here.

3, 2, 1, fade out.
