Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Sexual Assault Resource Agency (SARA).
Executive Director, Margaret Mickelsen, joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about SARA, which has been providing support, advocacy and education to men, women and children in the local community for 30 years.
SARA is the beneficiary of the Foxfield Family Day this fall on Sunday, September 26, and officials hope to raise money for prevention programs.
SARA is also holding a wine tasting at Siips Wine and Champagne Bar on the Downtown Mall on Saturday, September 25 from 5pm to 7pm. The event includes blind tasting games and a silent auction.
