Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Charlottesville Host Lions Club.
Harry Pond joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the Lions Club and their upcoming fall benefit concert. The concert is slated for September 24 at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville and will feature the Virginia Dreams and Grandstaff, comprised of the sons of two members of the Statler Brothers.
Tickets are $20 for reserved seats and $15 for general admission seating. Proceeds from the concert will benefit elderly people who need eyewear and hearing aids.
