Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries' Father's Day Festival.
Rydell Payne joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the organization and its Father's Day Festival. The Charlottesville Abundant Life Ministries (CALM) was started about 14 years ago as a partnership between the Prospect Avenue residents and Trinity Presbyterian Church. The group provides programs to community members that help them grow, including spiritual, educational and economic programs.
CLAM is proud to announce its fifth annual Father's Day Festival on Saturday, June 19. The event features live music, a 5K run/walk, workshop service a silent auction, and children's activities.
