Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Charlottesville Newsplex 4th of July celebration at McIntire Park.
Brad Ramsey, General Manage of the Charlottesville Newsplex, joined Bo Sykes to talk more about the event, which we are calling "Celebrate the Fourth."
Gates open at 6pm Sunday night at McIntire Park in Charlottesville. The event includes live music from local bands, food, kids games and more. Parking is free at Charlottesville High School, and the fireworks show will begin one minute after dark, which is scheduled to be around 9:20pm.
