Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Charlottesville Community Church and their Summer Sports Camp.
Kyle Hoover joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the summer camp, which is July 26-29 for young kids from grades K-5.
The 3-day evening camp includes sports skills instruction in basketball, football, soccer, and cheer/dance, as well as music and snacks. Guest Speakers at the camp include University of Virginia football player Jared Green and golfer Carly Truitt.
The Champions Carnival Night will be Thursday, July 29 at 6pm. It includes music from the church band, bounce houses, sport highlights from the week and special guest speaker UVa head football coach Mike London.
