Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Charlottesville Host Lions Club and their summer country music concert.
Harry Pond joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the concert, which will be at the Paramount Theater on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville.
The concert will be on August 28. Doors will open around 6:30pm and the show begins at 7:30pm. Country music starts like Lisa Meadows, Robby Meadows, Tim Spears and Wilson Fairchild will be playing at the concert.
Tickets are $15-$20 and can be purchased on The Paramount website. All proceeds go to the Charlottesville Host Lions Club. The money will help the club by reading glasses and hearing aids for senior citizens in need of assistance.
