For those who can’t afford to buy school supplies for their children, the Salvation Army’s back-to-school supply drive is going on right now. The drive benefits families in need in Charlottesville and Albemarle County.
Some of the items in demand include: book bags, pencils, glue, paper, scissors, crayons, loose leaf paper, and 3-ring binders. Checks to the Salvation Army to purchase school supplies are also accepted. All gifts and donations are tax deductible.
The drop off locations include: ACAC, Virginia National Bank, JVA Bookstore, Kmart, PVCC, Walgreens, Sam’s Club, State Farm.
