VNB Community Counts: Jennie Shuklis

Sept. 6, 2013

In this week's VNB Community Counts, Jennie Shuklis sits down with CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk about the Fluvanna County SPCA.

On Saturday, Sept. 7, the Fluvanna SPCA will be offering a Microchipping Clinic from 9 AM to 11 PM. The microchip, which will cost $25, helps identify lost pets that have been turned over to officials.

They are also holding their Summer Sizzler Adoption Special to encourage people to come out and give an animal a good home. The shelter is offering price discounts on cats and dogs of all ages for the month of September.

Keswick Vineyards will be holding a fundraiser for the SPCA from noon to 3 PM on September 14. Tickets for the event are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.
