VNB Community Counts: Fire Safety in the Home

This week we feature H.G. Lagomarsino from the Albemarle County Fire Department.

Lagomarsino joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about fire safety in the home. The fire department is starting a new effort to increase awareness of fire issues. Lagomarsino suggests that residents get a home safety inspection to be protected.

The main thing you can do to protect your house is to have a working smoke detector. Lagomarsino suggests that you have one of these on every level of the home.
