Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the annual Stuff A Truck.
Larry Zippin, CEO of the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, joined CBS19's Stephanie Satchell to talk more about the event.
September is "Hunger Action Month" and the event is to encourage the local community to take action to help eliminate hunger in the Charlottesville area.
Their goal is to raise 10,000 pounds of food.
Stuff A Truck will take place on Sept. 9 at the Giant grocery stores at Pantops and Seminole Square.
