Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Thomas Jefferson Youth Football League.
Michael Talbert joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the TJYFL, which is a little-league tackle football program geared toward younger kids in Central Virginia.
TJYFL has about 500 participants ranging in age from 8 to 14 years old. The league serves Nelson, Fluvanna, Albemarle and Greene counties and the City of Charlottesville.
The TJYFL is always in need of volunteers and funding for equipment and referees. You can contact them at TJYFL.net.
