Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the Downtown Business Association's Virginia Gingerbread Christmas.
Morgan Perkins joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the gingerbread house competition.
Winners of the family tradition were announced Friday. In the "child" category, Libby & Ethan Hartung and Hayden Aycock tied for first place. Cameron Tarbel took home first place in the "youth" category, Anne Garchus in the "adult" category and the Boar's Head Inn in the "professional" category.
All the gingerbread houses will be on display at the Omni Hotel in Downtown Charlottesville until 4pm Sunday.
