Community Counts gives you a chance to learn more about the people and the organizations that have a positive impact on our community. This week we feature the 2012 4 The Wounded 5-K.
Frank DiGiacomo joined CBS19's Bo Sykes to talk more about the second annual local version of the Wounded Warrior 5-K, which takes place on June 2.
The University of Virginia Foundation and the Charlottesville Running Company are partnering to host the on and off-road race that raises money for the Wounded Warrior Project. They raised $76,500 last year and hope to hit $100,000 this year.
The event will be held at the University of Virginia Research Park. For more information, click here.
