The fourth-annual Discoveroo was held Sunday at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion. It is put on by the Virginia Discovery Museum to teach kids about art, culture and history.
The children were able to see and touch instruments, make crafts, sing, and dance with hula hoops. The event is all about encouraging children to learn.
"It lets kids learn gross motor skills, as well as fine motor skills and history," said Amy Wicks-Horn, executive director for the Virginia Discovery Museum. "It's just so rich in terms of what the families are going to get out of the event."
The Virginia Discovery Museum holds special programs for your kids throughout the week.
