While heart attack can change a person’s life forever, it is what a patient does after the event which will make a difference in their future health. Cathy Reece is the Director of Health and Wellness at Martha Jefferson Hospital and she explains, in the video, some of the changes needed to be made and what she advises patients after a heart attack. Two major contributors to a healthier lifestyle after a heart attack is exercise and good nutrition. Also, stress management is crucial to good heart health. If followed, her council to her patients makes a tremendous and positive difference in their well-being and future health.
