Prostate cancer is the second most common cause of cancer deaths among men, which is why the month of September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month.
The prostate is a walnut-sized organ situated under the bladder in men. Its sole purpose is a part of reproduction.
Prostate cancer occurs in older men, and is quite common, which is why screening for the cancer is so important.
