Breast cancer remains the second leading cause of cancer deaths among American women, and both men and women should be aware that age, obesity, genetics, and family history are all factors that can contribute to the risk of developing this disease.
In order to continue our Breast Month Awareness, Dr. John Jones from Martha Jefferson Hospital spoke about what surgical options are available for those with breast cancer.
One of the newer procedures is an MRI-Guided Biopsy. It is a technology that helps doctors find tumors that would be less easily detected under regular film.
