Suzanne Celentano is the Head of the Maternity Care Coordination Program at Martha Jefferson Hospital, which helps moms and babies post-partum. She joined the studio to talk a bit more about what it is really like for first-time moms in the beginning.
Martha Jefferson Hospital is one of the only hospitals in the state to have nurses that actually come to the home of new moms and babies to check on their progress and health. Post-Partum depression is one of the concerns with first-time parents, and newborns have a few other complications in these situations.
