Prostate cancer is one of the most common types of cancer found in American men, with approximately 192,000 new cases found each year. For many men, surgery will be part of their treatment, with a common surgical side effect of weakened pelvic muscles.

Elizabeth Poole, a physical therapist, joined us for this week's installment of Martha Jefferson Healthwise. Poole shared tips on how to strengthen pelvic muscles after prostate surgery.
