Approximately 25% of Virginians are obese, and obesity rates nationwide continue to increase among both adults and children. Many have tried every diet and exercise regimen with little or no success. For people who have tried everything, weight loss surgery may be an option.

coordinator, Lisa Slate, with insights about who makes a good candidate for Bariatric Surgery.
Lisa discussed what makes a person a good candidate for bariatric surgery and what a person can expect after surgery. She also talked about how a person who has gone through bariatric surgery can ensure successfully results.
