Unless you are a frequent viewer of the show “House, MD,” you have probably never heard the word “sarcoidosis.” But you may be surprised to learn that you could have this inflammatory disease without even knowing it. In fact, it is often misdiagnosed as asthma or other respiratory ailments.
Joining us for this week's Martha Jefferson Healthwise segment is pulmonologist Dr. Alex Schult to give us some insight into this often-hidden disease.
