Dr. David Whitmer allowed cameras into his own environment to explain a little more about joint replacement surgery this week. One topic that he concentrated on is the steps that doctors take before actually performing surgery.
If joint replacement surgery becomes the answer, they are done with a variety of materials. In the case of knee replacement surgery, two simple metal tools and a plastic buffer are what are used for the replacement.
