Doctor David Aller speaks out about a program he has developed to help individuals detect high blood pressure. He has instituted at Martha Jefferson Hospital on the first Saturday of each month a high blood pressure screenings. The hope is for people in the community to remember this date and come and get checked up. Many people have found not only that they have high blood pressure, but more importantly they find out how to treat it. If they would not have come and been treated for the condition they may have developed into stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney failure and many other otherwise preventable illnesses.
The next screening will be on Saturday, July 7th. Those attending should meet in the main lobby of the Hospital from ten - 12Noon.
