For this week's segment of Cville Plugged In, Amy Eastlack of SuzySaidCville joined CBS19's Jim Hanchett to talk about Cville Niche.

Cville Niche is a blog-a-zine targeted at University students and young professionals to inform them not only of events, restaurants, businesses, and retailers available in the larger Charlottesville community, but also the opportunities they have to participate together with the Charlottesville community, such as charitable local community events and a variety of social and cultural activities.

The blog was started by Katerina Diplas who is a Sociology Major and Media Studies Minor at UVa. The blog grew immensely popular and she now has 10 other people working with her.

They publish a new "blog-a-zine" every month focusing on the coolest things that are happening in Cville that would be of interest to students and young professionals.
