After struggling on the football field for the past few seasons, Fluvanna County High School turned their coaching staff over to a Coach that's seen his share of success lately.

Fluvanna announced the hiring of Rodney Redd, a former Monticello assistant on Wednesday. Redd comes to Fluvanna after serving for six seasons under Mustang head coach Brud Bicknell.

Redd is also a graduate of North Carolina State University. He played football for the Wolfpack and also served as a team captain his senior year. Redd also has spent two years at Western Carolina University as an assistant coach.
