Rich Little and his Covenant Eagles (2-3) have been up and down so far this year. They are hovering around .500 this year, despite playing some tough teams. Little is this week's Pepsi Coach of the Week.

Covenant opened up the season with a 40-28 win over Norfolk Christian, but followed that up with a loss to defending state champions Atlantic Shores. They followed that loss with a 36-28 win over Flint Hill, but have lost their last two games to Liberty Christian and Blue Ridge.

Little says the ultimate goal is to make another state playoff run, but his team looks at the schedule one game at a time. Covenant travels to Hargrave Military Academy this Friday, hoping to get back to their winning ways.
