The Van Halen concerts in Dallas, Cincinnati, Raleigh, and Baltimore have been postponed.
According to a statement on the band's official website, Eddie Van Halen is "undergoing a battery of comprehensive medical tests to determine a defined diagnosis and recommended medical procedures." The statement does not say what Van Halen is suffering from.
This band has now canceled six shows. The first was the show scheduled for February 22 at John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville.
Rumors had been swirling around the internet that the entire tour would be canceled. "The Star Ledger" in New Jersey is reporting that a representative for opening act Ryan Shaw has told the paper that the tour will be either canceled or postponed.
The rescheduled date for the Charlottesville show remains March 11. It is now the next scheduled show for Van Halen.
