Van Halen was supposed to resume their reunion tour Tuesday night in Charlottesville after cancelling several dates. That won't happen.
The band has postponed 17 more concerts. In a statement from Live Nation, the producer of the show, the concerts are being postponed so that "Eddie Van Halen, who is currently under doctors' care, can continue medical tests to define a course of treatment."
The tour is now expected to continue on April 19. No specific date for a rescheduled Charlottesville show has been announced.
Van Halen was originally scheduled to play JPJ on February 22, but that show was cancelled with no explanation.
Several more shows were eventually cancelled with the band saying Eddie Van Halen was undergoing tests with no further explanation.
