Grammy Winning Singer Natalie Cole Diagnosed with Hepatitis C

Grammy-winning singer Natalie Cole says she has Hepatitis C.

Hepatitis C is a liver disease that's spread through contact with infected blood.

According to a statement released by her publicist, the disease was likely caused by her drug use years ago.

Cole's doctor says she is responding well to her medication.

The 58-year-old is scheduled to perform at the Paramount Theater on Sunday, December 12th
