Maya Angelou Paramount Appearance Postponed

Maya Angelou's appearance at The Paramount Theater previously scheduled for Thursday, August 30th, has been postponed at her management's request.

The event with the Pulitzer Prize-nominated poet, educator, historian, actress, playwright, civil-rights activist, producer, and director has been rescheduled for Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 8 pm. This is a change from the original rescheduled date announcement earlier today.

All current ticket holders may use their seats for the new October date. The Paramount is contacting ticket buyers to notify them about the postponement. Anyone who is unable to attend on the rescheduled date may return their tickets by September 14 for credit towards another Paramount event or a full refund.
