The Paramount Theater was filled as people waited to see who would be crowned the First Paramount Idol. It was down to two contestants, Michael Davis and Jennifer Stuart.
Ultimately it was Stuart who took home the title as the winner of Paramount Idol. She will get $1,000, a professionally recorded demo and a consultation from Red Light Management.
Each contestant sang with a band and had well known names in the music business listen to them sing. Red Light Management General Manager, Jonathan Azu, singer/songwriter Andy Waldeck and Maxine Jones, singer of multi-platinum R&B group En Vogue were the judges.
CBS19's Tara Wheeler hosted the event while friends and families cheered for their favorite contestant.
