Posh is a store located on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville that specializes in providing vintage and new clothing.
“We are girly girls and my sister and I own the shop.We've always loved fashion," said Victoria O'Leary, Co-Owner of Posh.
The store carries styles from the 50's and 60's and has an assortment of purses for daytime and evening wear.
“We have a resurgence of the styles you saw in the 50's and 60's. Some of them we saw our mothers wear,” said O’Leary.
O’Leary also says the store can custom make your wardrobe. One time they turned a party dress from the 1950’s and gave it more of a wedding look to it, by taking the skirt off the bodice and reworked it so it would have a train.
“We get lots of women over 40 who come in desperate to find a dress that suits their style that has a sleeve that's not too short not too plunging and is attractive for their coloring and we can take care of all that,” said O’Leary.
