A local band "From Here on Blue" recently wrapped up a successful EP release party at The Southern. Wednesday they stopped by the Newsplex studios to give us a preview of what we can expect from their record.
"From Here on Blue" is an american rock 'n roll band founded in Charlottesville. They've been working for about a year on their new EP and said they are proud of the results.
"It's largely indicative of the Blue Ridge Mountains," said singer/songwriter Mark Coffman. "We have a lot of acoustic stuff and we also do a lot of electric music as well. I think the time we put in it is representative of the record."
To download their new EP called "Let it Rain," check out their website click here. On that site, there's also an option to get the music for free or for a donation.
