The Play On! Theatre at IX in Charlottesville is presenting the play "Waiting for Godot."
The play is about two guys who are down on their luck and are waiting on the road for a man named Godot. During their wait they encounter some interesting characters.
"I like it a lot to what it would be like hanging out with your best friend at the DMV. You're just waiting for your number to be called and sometimes it seems like an eternity before they ever get to you. What am I waiting for? and What am I dong while I'm waiting and How do I deal with the waiting?," said Andrew "Derby" Thomas, Director for "Waiting for Godot."
The play premieres Thursday, June 14 at 8:00 p.m. The play runs through June, 24.
Tickets range from $6 and $8. To purchase tickets you can buy them at the door or from Play On! Theatre's website.
