Soundtrack to Charlottesville: Jessica Fisher

Gospel singer Jessica Fisher says faith is at the forefront of her music.

"It's the foundation of my life," said Fisher.

Fisher hopes through her music, she can inspire Christianity to become the foundation of her listener's lives.

"The songs on the CD go through the Christian experience and coming to the Lord. Realizing it's just a simple choice and that the walk may be hard but to have that hope for a better future," said Fisher.

Although Fisher is releasing her first CD, she didn't expect to have a music career this early in her life.

" I'm still going to school. I'm still going for my bachelor's degree. So, the message I want to give people is don't give up on your dreams," said Fisher.

Fisher believes if you walk by faith then the Lord will open doors for many opportunities. She hopes her faith will take her music and message to many places.

"Not only reach the regional area, but the state, nation and world. I'd love to see it go international and it has that potential," said Fisher.
