For this week's segment of Edible Blue Ridge, Steve Russell joined CBS19's Jim Hanchett to discuss the Monticello Heritage Harvest Festival.
The 5th annual Heritage Harvest Festival at Monticello will take place September 16 through September 17. The festival celebrates gardening, sustainable agriculture and local food. Those that go to the festival will be able to taste heirloom fruits and vegetables and learn about organic gardening.
Tickets cost $8 in advance and $10 day of the event. Children five and under can go for free.
Parking is available at the Piedmont Virginia Community College
and Monticello High School.
