The Holiday season runs from late November to Christmas Eve, and amidst these holidays comes a lot of unhealthy food. Rita Smith with Martha Jefferson Hospital joined the studio to give some tips on healthy holiday eating.
If you are trying to lose weight during the holidays, that is probably a hard goal to achieve, but maintaining weight amidst the extra calories in holiday foods is a lot more manageable.
Some tips that Smith provided include remembering portion control, keeping your normal eating routines, and staying active.
