For this week's Hot On the Hanger Shannon Merrick, Owner of S.H. Merrick Boutique in Gordonsville held a mini-fashion show at the Newsplex. She showed off three popular looks. She began with the modern day Audrey Hepburn look.
"It's varied off of a 50's pattern coral which is really popular this spring. We accessorized it with orange. The hat is part fascinator and part little french hat and we paired it with a coral colored slip show from France as well," said Merrick.
For the second look a model showed off an outfit by "M."
"It's very architectural, you have to put it on to really appreciate it. Sometimes people are afraid to mix patterns," said Merrick. "Mixing and matching patterns is really a lot of fun."
The final look was has a spring garden theme. The look was a classic look with a twist of style.
"It's a french ensemble with the coat and dress and we have a lot of ladies that come in and say we don't want to show our arms and in this case we did the matching coat with the dress," said Merrick.
The dress neckline was a little off the shoulder and was paired with a hat with a long brim.
