Located on the Downtown Mall, the half-submerged storefront of Ike's Underground vintage clothing shop is a peek into outstretched rows of vintage clothing.

Everything from World War II era jackets to a 1980s prom dress can be found in the store. And every style has a story. Some of the clothing is considered folk art, some are museum quality historic pieces.

Ike Eichling, the colorful character who owns the store, explains the vintage mentality, "The stuff that's in good shape is in good shape and the stuff that's not, you can wear it bad it you want to."

He's also got some great fashion advice saying, "if you want to change your wardrobe, just change your decade."

Ike's also sells vintage jewelry, shoes, and other accessories, as well as decades old books and maps. There's even an 8th grade teaching tool from the late 1800s to show students how to calculate farm sales.

Whether you're looking for a piece of art, a piece of history, or a unique piece for your wardrobe, Ike's Underground is not something you want to pass by.
