**Special Report!**While originally airing this segment on November 2nd, the owners of Bruce saw their lost dog and immediately contacted the Charlottesville/Albemarle SPCA. It seems that somehow, Bruce was found in town, and had traveled all the way from Madison!
Bruce is now happily reunited with his family. This is the first time that the Charlottesville/Albemarle SPCA has reconnected a family with their pet by any television broadcast! Congratulations to Bruce and his family. The original full article is below.
Sue Mantz from the Charlottesville/Albemarle SPCA brought Bruce this week for the Pet Project. Bruce is probably 4 years old, and is a neutered male. He is a Australian Shepard, cattle dog mix.
Bruce was a stray that someone brought to the SPCA, but he used to be somebody's amazing pet. He is fully trained at a lot of dog commands, and he loves playing Frisbee or with tennis balls. He is a very smart dog, and would be a wonderful family pet.
If you would like to visit Bruce or any other Pet Projects, just come by the SPCA on Berkmar Drive!
