UVa Today: Autism Musical

July 23, 2009

Michael Rasbury, an assistant professor of sound design at UVa, stopped by the Newsplex for UVa Today's weekly segment.

Rasbury talked about his new musical about autism. The musical is told through the eyes of a child with autism, as the audience follows 7-year-old Max. Max gets briefly lost and separated from his parents, on a miraculous adventure through the outside world, where seemingly normal yet magical characters share common experiences.

Max, now 9-years-old, is Rasbury's son.
