It's an exciting time and a milestone for many.
Thousands of University of Virginia students will walk the Lawn on Sunday to the tune of "Pomp and Circumstance" as they graduate from Thomas Jefferson's university.
There will also be a new face on grounds for Final Exercises. Karen Ryan, the director of graduate studies at UVa., is the new commencement marshal for the event.
Ryan discusses Final Exercises with CBS19's Tiffani Sargent.
