October is Cyber Security Month. So in this week's UVA Today segment, Karen McDowell stopped by the Newsplex to discuss cyber security.
McDowell, an Information Security Analyst at UVA, discussed what to do to protect your identity online. She explained safety steps to take when using WiFi at coffee shops and other public places.
McDowell also shared new and clever form of phishing and referenced two website that will help internet users navigate these issues:
