For this week's Uva Today, Nina Morris from UVa Sustainability Outreach visited the Newsplex to talk about the University's observance of Earth Week. Earth Week begins April 16 and ends April 22.
During the week there will be many events including, exhibits, presentations, classes, a local food fair and career fair. A $20,000 grant will also be awarded for sustainability projects on Grounds.
To kick off the week there will be a recycling art-making project event at Jefferson Hall. People who attend will get the chance to make arts and crafts with recycled materials.
