For this week’s segment of Uva Today Bill Sherman, Director of Open Grounds visited the studio to talk about the space near grounds.
The space can be used for meetings with community members, events and performances. Organizers want the space to be used for the University to help collaborate with community members.
"A way of creating a culture change to have very place at the University for very innovative ideas," said Sherman.
The space is located near University Avenue and West Main Street in Charlottesville. Organizers hope to grow and collaborate with more people and expand their network.
