UVa Today: “Rally For Honor”

June 22, 2012

For this week’s UVa today, Joel Voss a University of Virginia graduate student visited the Newsplex to talk about the “Rally for Honor,” being held Sunday, June 24.

The rally is for students, alumni and faculty members to get together on the Lawn to call for honor for the governance of the University. Students and faculty members hope to influence the Board of Visitors on Monday and the governor actions.

Voss says he hopes three things happen, that Sullivan is reinstated, Rector Helen Dragas resigns and that faculty members get some type of representation on the Board of Visitors.

The rally begins at 2 p.m. and ends at 4 p.m
