For this week's UVa Today, George Cohen, chair of the Faculty Senate at the University of Virginia visited the Newsplex.
He discussed the aftermath of Teresa Sullivan being reinstated after two weeks of uncertainty and outcry from faculty, students and alumni. Many shared their disappointment of her being ousted.
Cohen says he hopes the school can move forward and is glad the faculty's voices were heard.
"I think everyone is looking forward to working together and helping Teresa Sullivan to move the University forward," said Cohen.
Cohen hopes the school will take the advantage of online education and believes the school will come out stronger now that Teresa Sullivan is President of the University of Virginia.
